- Ÿ Pre-school for ages 2 ½ to rising 5’s
- Ÿ We have 2.5 hours sessions, 3 hour sessions and whole day sessions. These sessions can be taken in different session these can be taken either:
- 9.15 to 11.45 am, 9.15 am to 12.15pm, 9.15am to 2.45 pm or
11.45 am to 2.45 pm or 12.15 to 2.45
- Ÿ 30 places per session
- Ÿ Charge £3.45 per hour payable half termly in advance.
- Ÿ We have been accepted for the Nursery Early Years Development Partnership
The registration of our playgroup required that children are not left before 9.15 and 12.15 and are collected by 11.45 or 2.45 for afternoon sessions, when they become the responsibility of their parent/carer, unless other arrangements have been agreed. Failure to collect a child by this time means we are obliged, under our registration, to inform the police who then decide on the appropriate steps.
Lincombe Barn Playgroup runs five days per week with highly qualified staff with NVQ level 3 & 4.
Lincombe Barn Playgroup has the use of a marvellous quality building, including music room and now has access to outside facilities and the nearby park.
Staff meet on a regular basis to plan and evaluate the curriculum, which is planned to meet children’s needs and offer opportunities to extend their learning potential.
Children’s names can be put on the waiting list at any time. Parents are welcome to visit at any time that our group is in session.
Children can attend as soon as they reach the required age, depending on vacancies. When allocating places parents are informed by letter or phone and we suggest the child visit playgroup a few times in the term prior to their starting date.
Places can be reserved for one term only. A non refundable deposit of £50.00 deposit will be required to secure a place.
