7. FINANCIAL REPORT
CURRANT FINANCIAL SITUATION
Current Account £ 31,231
Significant Expenditure - > £500
Since the May report, apart from the normal large payments, i.e. wages, utilities, etc, we have paid R&J Consultants £1,844 for work in preparing and submitting building regs. drawings. Mel to update
Mobile Phone Improvement (County Court Claim for £2,000)
The two defendants were deemed to have received the court paperwork, our claim, on 23rd April, with a three week window to respond to Mel. Receiving no reply, Mel have raised a “Request for Judgement” form, which asks the court, in light of no communication from either of the defendants, to issue an “order to pay”. The court is taking 7- 10 working days to deal with paperwork at present, so Mel is anticipating them issuing this demand by Thurs 27/6. This demand could be “with immediate effect”, or could give them a period of time. It apparently all decides on the judge. If nothing is forthcoming, the next step would be to ask the court for enforcement, i.e. send in the bailiffs.
Mel to update
South Glos. Council have accepted responsibility for the wall in the car park – they plan to make it safe by removing the loose bricks, and will repair it when their calendar permits .Mel does not anticipate any action for some time. Closing Note
